Breif Description:

The Pneumatic Telescopic Mast is the structure used to raise the payload to an operational level. It consists of several concentric, nesting mast sections, fabricated from Aluminum alloy tube part # 6063T5, that extend and retract pneumatically. 

 

Pneumatic Telescopic Masts are ideal for many applications such as fixed and mobile radio communication, mobile surveillance, elevated testing and mobile radar applications, light towers, and other industries.

 

There are three kinds of pneumatic telescopic masts, one is non-locking pneumatic telescopic mast, one is locking mast, the third one is mast with internal spiral cable for lighting or CCTV.

Lockable Pneumatic Telescopic Mast Description

The locking pneumatic telescopic mast extension automatic, when all sections extended fully, sections will be locked by the locking collars. Locking mast can be depressurized once the desired sections are raised and locked into position. That is to mean the external air supply system can be move off when the locking mast extended in operational position. Locking Pneumatic Telescopic Mast suitable for long time deployment, weekly, monthly, even yearly. But, before retracting operation, should pump air into to the clocking mast to make sure there are enough air pressure for safety operation. Enough inside pressure can be as a buffer when payloads down, especially the heavy-duty payloads.
